Foothill Conservancy Work Day, Oak Hill Community Park and Forest

Help plant 400 chestnut trees on December 11 at the Foothill Conservancy’s Oak Hill Community Park and Forest, Morganton, NC. Volunteers should arrive by 9:30am. Tools, water, and lunch will be provided. Dress appropriate for the weather. Wear work shoes and gloves. Bring your own snacks and drinking water. Bring a shovel. Bring a face mask to wear when required. Directions from US 70, Carbon City Boulevard:  At Independence Boulevard, travel .08 miles north and turn left onto Freedom Drive.
