Chestnut Chat Series: Cruddy Bark and the Complex World of Blight Cankers

Join us on Friday, April 16 at 11:30 AM (EDT) for the next LIVE Chestnut Chat: Cruddy Bark and the Complex World of Blight Cankers.

We will be joined by Mark Double, WV-TACF chapter president and Laurel Rogers, honors program director and associate professor of biology at Shenandoah University. Double will discuss the blight fungus, how it spreads, canker formation, and spore production. Rogers will focus on identifying what beneficial fungi live under the healthy bark of different chestnut species prior to C. parasitica infection.
