Chestnut Chat Series: GWAS 101

Genome Wide Association Study (GWAS) has become the go-to method for detecting genetic variation (heritability) that affects the variation we observe in traits within a species. In our next live Chestnut Chat on Friday, October 30 at 11:30AM (EST), David Kainer, staff scientist at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, will explain how GWAS is done, from phenotyping and genotyping, to bioinformatics and analysis, and how to make sense of the results.
