Chestnut Chat: Chestnut Pollen Collection, Processing, and Storage

The Chestnut Chat on May 19 will focus on the steps, methods, and processes of gathering and storing chestnut pollen. Join Hannah Pilkey of SUNY-ESF, and Cassie Stark and Eric Jenkins of TACF as they discuss the biology of male flowers, timing of catkin emergence and anthesis, and the techniques used to gather and store pollen for both the current season and for future use.
