It is time again to begin thinking about your best photos of American chestnut or American chestnut hybrids for entry into this year’s contest. We enjoy submissions that collectively represent every season, giving us the opportunity to highlight the tree’s best features any time of year.
The winner will receive a one-year membership to TACF and some cool merchandise (native range t-shirt, cap, mug, bandana). Their photo will also be published on a future cover of Chestnut magazine and featured on TACF’s Facebook and Instagram profiles for one month. The second-place winner will receive a mug and bandana, and their photo will be published in Chestnut magazine. The third-place winner receives a mug, and their photo will also be published in Chestnut magazine. So, get out there, give it your best shot, and reap the rewards!
How to Enter & Contest Terms
All entries must:
- be submitted digitally via email or a link to a cloud drive by September 1, 2023;
relate to the American chestnut;
be at least 2400 x 3000 pixels (7.6 MBs) and submitted in a jpeg or tiff file format;
include name of photographer and contact information;
include a full caption containing names of subject(s), location, and title;
be limited to a total of five photos;
